****Some Islamic sayings on technology and science******
Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the coming and going of the night and the day, there are many signs for those of understanding who remember Allah standing, sitting, and lying down (at all times) and thinking about the creation of the heavens and the earth (and saying, O our Lord). ! You did not create these without purpose. You are pure from vain deeds (Ale Imran: 190-191).
It is evident from the mentioned verse that everything that people benefit from in this world is the gift of Allah Ta'ala. Each of these things is a sign of the Tawheed of Allah Ta'ala. Now is the age of technology. Thanks to technology, the whole world has now become a village. Instantly, the news of one country comes to another country. Talking to people thousands of miles away is effortless.
The discovery of this world, all these developments in technology are all special blessings given by Almighty Allah to Islam and Muslims. It is obligatory for every servant to give thanks to him. Because Allah says, 'If you are grateful, I will surely give you more. And if you are ungrateful, then (remember) surely My punishment is severe' (Surah Ibrahim: 7).
Every word and deed of man must be accounted before Allah. It is a heinous sin to speculate without knowing. This heinous sin is most prevalent on social media. Because if someone dislikes someone, it has become a daily routine to come to his comment room and make slanderous and opinionated comments. People are routinely commenting on other people's posts. But most of the comments are opinionated. Many make fake comments even under the guise of laughter which is even more serious. Because poets who slander falsely even under the guise of laughter are guilty of sin.
In the Qur'an, Allah Ta'ala says, 'O believers! You live from many ideas. Do not look for certain ideas that are sinful and secret. Let none of you slander anyone behind his back. Would any of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? In fact you hate it. Fear Allah. Surely Allah is Accepting repentance, Most Merciful.' (Surah Huzrat: 12).
Many are spreading lies online with the easy use of technology. Inciting profanity, lewdness, nudity. In this case, you can play a role in the propagation of Islam by accepting Facebook as a means of invitation. Scholars must come forward to promote the compatibility of the theories discovered by modern science with the Quran.
It is the responsibility of our learned society to pull the sails of this directionless ship of technology. Also teaching people its proper use. It is important to take an effective plan on how to strengthen technology in the service of Islam. Because now people depend on technology. Office-court, book-book, shop-study all are now at hand. But this excellence of technology should not be the cause of our destruction.
We are Muslims. We must remember that everything will be accounted to God one day. No matter what we do, big or small, everything is written in the court of Allah. All the words uttered by our mouths are recorded by Allah through His angels. In the Holy Qur'an, it is mentioned, "There is a watchman with him to record what he utters." (Surah Kaf: 18).
The fatal disease of those who are active on social media is that if they dislike someone, they share their videos, audio clips or pictures perversely without verification. He spreads rumors easily without knowing it. But sharing or promoting any news without verification is a very bad thing.
It is described in the Qur'an, "O believers! If a wrong-doing person brings you news, then check, so that you do not harm a community out of ignorance and later regret what you have done.' (Surah Hujurat: 06).
In the hadith, on the authority of Abu Hurairah (RA), the Prophet (PBUH) said, "It is enough for a person to be a liar that he narrates whatever he hears (without judgment).
