Md. Mostafizur Rahman was born on March 1, 1977 in a noble Muslim family in Banimardan village of Nazirpur union of Muladi upazila of Barisal district. His father is Khan Sultan Ahmed, mother Feroza Begum. They are seven brothers and four sisters. His education started from Mangalsukh Government Primary School, Kalapara, Patuakhali. He passed SSC from Banimardan Secondary School in 1992 from Humanities Department with 2nd division. He completed his HSC from Muladi College in 1995 with 2nd Division from Humanities Department. In 1997, he completed his B.S. He passed BPD in 2007. During his working life, he worked for 2 years at Beacon Pharmaceutical and 08 years at Poppy Publishing. He joined Grade 10 as Assistant Teacher in Nazirpur Secondary School, Muladi, Barisal on 07/04/2014. Presently working in Grade 09. Father of three sons in personal life.
